I am a trained and accredited pastoral supervisor and warmly invite reflective conversation.
In supervision I seek to provide a safe and supportive environment, in which others can reflect upon their experience and see themselves and their lives and work in new ways. I use a variety of methods depending on the needs and learning preferences of the supervisee. I take an attentive listening stance, using verbatims, journal entries, and other material where offered as the basis of reflective conversation. I see supervision as vital to personal growth as well as professional accountability, and seek to provide a nurturing space where new insights can flourish.
Qualifications:
I have Masters degrees in Theology and English Literature from the universities of Oxford and Cambridge and 35 years experience of ministry in varied settings, including as a tertiary educator, parish priest, and in schools, hospitals and other secular settings.
